REFRENCE BOOKS FOR ELECTRONUCS ENGINEERING
Electronic engineering is an electrical engineering discipline which utilizes nonlinear and active electrical components to design electronic circuits, devices, integrated circuits and their systems.
The discipline typically also designs passive electrical components,
usually based on printed circuit boards
WHAT IS ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING.
Electronic engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with electronic circuits of electronic devices and equipment.
Electronic engineering now forms a greater part of the technological infrastructure of today. Right from the digital functions of your microwave oven to the high-end gaming consoles and professional laptops you use, the application of electronics engineering has become ubiquitous.
OR
Electronics Engineering is a discipline of engineering which focuses on topics such as circuits, microprocessors, Digital signal processors, electrical and electronic components, etc.
Here are a few of the benefits of taking up electronics and communication engineering:
important REFRENCE BOOKS FOR ELECTRONUCS ENGINEERING
Circuit theory:
Chua, Desoer and Kuh, “Linear and Nonlinear Circuits”, McGraw-Hill, 1987
Electronics:
The fundamental book IMHO is Gray & Searle’s “Electronic Principles”, Wiley, 1969.
Digital Signal Processing:
No doubts here: Oppenheim & Schafer’s “Digital Signal Processing”, Prentice-Hall, 1975.
Control:
I like Chen’s “Analog and Digital Control System Design: Transfer-Function, State-Space, and Algebraic Methods”, HRW, 1993
Electromagnetics:
This is Physics :-) What I recommend here is a book on “applied electromagnetics”
Being an Electrical Engineering Undergraduate student
1. A. K. Chakrabarty, Circuits and Networks.
2. P. S. Bhimbra, Generalized Theory of Electrical Machines.
3. J. B. Gupta, Switchgear and Industrial Protection
4. Nagrath Kothari and M. Gopal, Control Systems Engineering.
5. Ashfaq Hussain, Power Systems, this book is a reader’s dream.
